About us
Little Steps Of Faith Preschool
We are a community, preschool located in the small neighborhood of Sylmar, California, nestled between the cities of Santa Clarita and San Fernando. We are a small school with a 12 to1 student-teacher ratio. We currently accept children ages 18 months to 5 years old and not of school age.
At our faith based preschool, we apply Christian values to all aspects of our program. Your child will not only learn traditional social, emotional and academic skills but will also be exposed to Christianity through age appropriate bible stories & memory verses.
Preschool and Early Preschool children (4 yrs) must be potty trained or you can ask us about our potty training program. Our Toddler Care program serves children 18 to 35 months.
Our core academic hours are between 8:30am-11:45am, during which our primary focus is kindergarten readiness. Our normal operating hours are from 6:30 a.m. for preschool children and 7:30a.m. for childcare and we close at 6:00p.m.
We are a 501 (C) (3) non-profit, financially independent (self-supporting) and our registration fees and tuition cover operating expenses. Throughout the year we host various fundraisers to help purchase new play equipment, books, and other vital materials needed to provide a fun and safe environment for children. Whether small or large donations are always needed and very much appreciated.

Our Philosophy at Little Steps of Faith Preschool is based on Christian Values and is committed to providing a safe, loving and nurturing environment where children can learn and are able to grow into unique individuals knowing that God’s unfailing love endures forever.
By providing a foundation of developmentally appropriate experience and instilling good moral values, children will recognize the importance of becoming responsible and respectful members of their church and community.
Our curriculum provides a balanced program that will promote the academic, social, and spiritual development of each child.
We believe having your child in our program is a privilege and we strive to use the Word of God through our actions and attitudes to ensure a safe and happy environment for all children.
We are committed to teaching preschoolers about God’s love, spirituality, and Christian values.
We strive to provide a nurturing environment where children are treated with respect and dignity.
We individualize instruction to meet the unique needs, developmental stage, and learning style of each student to help them reach their full potential.
